Xpert Driver Training was recommended to on Facebook by a friend. Until my lessons with Mick I had not been behind the wheel of a car before. When I first started my lessons I was nervous and lacked confidence, but I found Mick very patient and reassuring. He helped me turn my nerves into confidence which helped my overall driving ability. The people in the office seemed friendly and nice. They were always very helpful when booking or changing my test date. Theory Test Pro was a life saver for me. It got me through my theory test first time with ease. At first I was anxious about taking my theory test, and on the day of the test I was really nervous. However I found the theory test to be very easy because I had used theory test pro to study for the test. I would advise that people take the test early and use theory test pro to help them study for it because it really isn't anything to worry about. Mick was a great instructor. His driving advise is always useful and I will definitely remember his tips and apply them to my driving now that I have passed my test. As a person Mick is quite funny and calm and generally he would always make you feel relaxed and ready to drive. Everything. I know that sounds like an easy answer, but I came into my lessons with literally no driving experience and since driving with Mick I have passed my test. No one piece of advise or teaching that Mick gives you is more important than the other. I would just say try and take as much knowledge as you can from your instructor as it will all help you pass your test. Personally for me the best piece of advise was to talk my way (out loud) through hazards. I was reluctant to do this at first but once I started it felt natural and it cleared my head and helped me concentrate on my driving. Being able to drive gives me the freedom to go places and not have to rely on others. I needed to do it! Mick's school of motoring is everything you want from an instructor. If my friends was learning to drive I'd tell them my experience with Mick and I honestly think they'd choose to learn with him after that. ADAM COWLIN, GOOLE Passed 5 April 2016 8 Driver faults
