1. Ensure you have driving lessons with an approved driving instructor (ADI). He should have a green badge like the one opposite and his picture should be on it, this should be displayed in his car.
2. Don't always think that cheap is best. You may find you spend a lot of time wasted at the side of the road. You may spend more money in the long run. 3. Use the Highway Code, Know Your Traffic Signs and Theory Test Pro to study for your theory. 4. Ask your instructor if he has carried out any CPD? Look for an instructor that has got qualifications in Coaching, a lot will say they coach, but they have not been trained in any form of coaching. Don't listen to stories from mates about tests or examiners, they are probably untrue. 7. Take regular lessons, Xpert Driver Training, recommends a 2 hour lesson a week as a minimum, especially in the final weeks before test, a lot of learners believe that once they are at test standard they can stop taking regular lessons as the test gets closer, you then have more chance of skill fade and getting bad habits!
