Amy Turvey achieved her goal - Driving instructors in Selby

A colleague recommended mick to me as I had had a couple lessons with another driving instructor and quite frankly I kind of lost faith in him after an incident with a child running out in the road. It put me off and I stopped. My first lesson with mick I explained what had happend and told him my reaction and Mick said i was 100% correct in what i did which restored my confidence slightly. After 2 or 3 lessons with Mick he made me feel at ease behind the steering wheel. If I hadnt of changed to Mick I dont think I'd of ever passed. I spoke with both Ian and Lisa in Mick's office and both were very helpful and they did their best to answer my questions and help as efficiently and quickly as possible. Mick gave me FREE access to Theory Test Pro, it is great! I found it very easy to use the multiple choice part alrhough i didnt get on very well with the hazard part but that was probably just me. Mick is fab! Very patient, easy going and is great at working out how a pupil finds it best to learn. I was able to pass my test in a lot shorter time than I expected. Instead of sitting and talking all the time we actually drove and learnt what I was there to learn. Being able to drive was all about the freedom and a personal goal for myself that I had wanted to achieve for years that I just didn't have the means of doing. I had my eyes on it but never actualy got my hands on it until now. I would tell everyone about my negotiable and non-negotiable goals. I started my lessons in february 15 and my non-negotiable goal was to drive to my dads in kent by christmas 15 and my negotiable goal was to pass before my 21st in august 15. I passed before my 21st!!!  Amy Turvey passed 3 driver faults
